Dear Ms. Villa
For my future I plan to attend Washington State University and study Audio Engineering, in order to become a music producer and recording artist. I like expressing my emotions through music, it makes me feel alive and active and I believe making music can help express my passion for the beauty of music.
I plan to attend WSU as their Audio Engineer program is very robust and well known. It includes music recording, music production, music composer, and many other music majors, which will help me to become one of the bests recording artists.
I want to be an Audio Engineer because music is my passion and I like to work with the equalization and fix the sound so that it is very comfortable for people. Since my childhood I have loved music. I started in a band with my cousins when I was a kid and now I have my own band. Many other bands invited me to play with them. I play the bass in my church worship band. I also play the piano, guitar, drum, and a little of mixing. During my 11th year in high school I joined Jazz band and I have also taken some music classes out of school at aChristian Worship school. I am so passionate with the music.
The cost of attending WSU is listed as $23,922 a year. This includes dorm, food, books and tuition. I will complete the FAFSA and expect to receive a Pell Grant of about $6,000 and a State Need Grant of about $12,000. WSU gives out to $4,000 scholarships if your GPA and SAT scores are high. I will apply for many scholarships and anticipate taking out little in loans.
